Benaiah Neetz
Benaiah was raised in Buckhannon, West Virginia. His parents moved there from New York a few years earlier, which is why he never developed much of a southern accent.
The Lord saved him at the age of sixteen while on a mission trip with Teen Mania. During that time, the Lord opened his eyes to his sin and showed him his need for Christ, leading him to trust in Jesus as his Savior.
He attended Boyce College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical and Theological Studies, and later completed a Master of Divinity at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Biblical and Theological Studies. During those years, the Lord continued to deepen his love for theology, discipleship, and the local church.
Through his relationship with Aaron Scott, the Lord brought him to Twin Falls in July of 2022 to join the work of Twin Falls Community Church. Shortly after moving to Twin Falls, he met his lovely wife, Grace, long distance while she was living in Florida, and they were married eleven months later in June of 2023. They are expecting their first son, Athanasius, in March.
He loves the church fathers and the history of the church and is still a proud Reformed Baptist. Some of the most influential books in his life include *Kingdom Through Covenant* (Wellum & Gentry), *How Long, O Lord?* (D.A. Carson), *All That Is in God* (James Dolezal), anything by Augustine—especially his *Confessions*—and Bavinck’s *Reformed Dogmatics.*
Some of his favorite things to do include spending time with his favorite person, his wife Grace, reading, discipling others, and enjoying meaningful conversations with friends. Outside of ministry, he enjoys being outdoors, fishing, exercising, and drinking a floral Ethiopian pour-over coffee. He also loves getting lost in the worlds of Tolkien and The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini.
